Discover the Difference! at CFA History Odell and Selva Cochran founded Christian Fellowship Assembly in December of 1982 with a desire to see a full gospel work in the Tunnel Hill area. They worked diligently for a number of years until the congregation was established and a team of teachers and other Christian workers came together. The church grew and many lives were changed through their dedicated leadership. They laid a foundation of loving and caring for people that continues to be a principle characteristic of the ministry at Christian Fellowship to this day. We are thankful for the vision that God gave them to begin this work for Him here in Tunnel Hill. CFA Ministry Christian Fellowship Assembly, for purposes of accountability, is affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. The International Headquarters for the Assemblies of God is in Springfield, Missouri, and there is a District Headquarters in Macon, Georgia. There are a number of ministries in which CFA is involved. On Sundays we have Sunday School classes for Adults, Teens, Juniors, Primary, and Nursery from 10:00am to 11:00am. Morning worship begins at 11:00am and the Evening service is at 7:00pm. On Wednesday nights there is an Adult Bible Study at 7:30 and two programs for children and teens (K-12), Royal Rangers (7:00pm) and Missionettes (7:30pm). There are many opportunities for growth and for service within our local body, and it is an excellent place to worship and learn. Come join us and Discover the Difference at CFA! |
