THE CLUBS

RAINBOWS CLUB - Girls AND Boys ages 3 and 4

Rainbows Club is built around a Noah's Ark theme and their colors are green and white. There are 36 units (Birds, Tigers, Lady Bugs, etc...) with each unit consisting of 4 lessons each teaching on a central theme (Thoughtfulness, Obeying, Wonderfully Made, etc...) and a Bible memory verse. As each child completes the lesson for a unit he or she is awarded a colorful badge to be sewn on his or her awards vest.

When a child completes 18 of these units they are considered to be an HONOR RAINBOW. They are awarded an HONOR Pin that is worn on the uniforms in all of Missionettes. The uniform for Rainbows consists of a green or navy vest worn over regular clothing.

DAISIES - Girls in Kindergarten (age 5)

Daisies are the Sunshine Club and their colors are yellow and white. They have 12 units of study (Praying, Sharing, Trusting, etc...) which consists of 4 lessons and a Bible Memory Verse. Each unit has a cute badge that is awarded to the girls at the end of the month. This badge is sewn onto a navy sash worn over a navy jumper and white blouse. When a child has earned nine of the badges, she is considered an HONOR DAISY and given a pin to be worn on uniforms of the next four clubs.

PRIMS - First and Second Grade Girls

Prims is a club all about "discovering". While discovering, girls will earn badges and learn about the Bible and church. There are units (24) about nature--God's creation, friends and the people who live around you. When a girl earns 18 badges she will become HONOR PRIM and receive a special pin she may wear for as long as she is in Missionettes. Prim colors are pink and white.

STARS - Girls in Grades 3 through 5

Stars Clubs are absolutely one of the best things a girl can do and one she will certainly put as a favorite memory for the rest of her life. Stars have a collection of 36 units of study. Each unit will teach a basic Bible doctrine which gives a rooted foundation for Christian living. Each have a Bible verse to memorize, 4 lessons, a project and a badge that denotes which unit was earned. Among the unit studies are nine honor steps (Salvation, Healing, Second Coming, Holy Spirit, etc...) for which additional work is required. If a girl completes 27 units (the nine honor steps must be included) and read all of the New Testament, then they will be crowned as an HONOR STAR (YES this means the girl receives a beautiful crown plus a cape, a trophy and certificate) and will have a beautiful ceremony at both the local church and state convention. A GIRL WILL NEVER FORGET BEING IN STARS!

FRIENDS - Sixth through Eighth Grade Girls

Friends Clubs have butterfly and locker themes. They have 18 units with six lessons each. They are given a Friends Journal which includes prayer and Bible-reading (The whole Bible is read in the course of this study). The units include lessons in accountability, attitude, peer pressure, etc... When each unit is completed, a Friends Club charm which is suitable for wearing on bracelet or necklace is given. When they complete all 18 units they are considered HONOR FRIENDS and receive a beautiful sterling silver ring with the Friends logo. The ring symbolizes their commitment to serve God throughout their high school years. They are also honored with a royal purple cord with silver-plated Friends charm to be worn at the Commitment service at both the local church and state convention.

GIRLS ONLY - Ninth through Twelfth Grade Girls

Girls Only has unit studies relevant to girls in high school and is important in helping girls maintain Christian values throughout high school. A Rose is their symbol. Girls Only units include lessons in Addiction, College and Career, Creation Vs.Evolution and many more. Each girl receives a unit pin to be worn on a club hat as she completes her work. When a girl completes all 20 units and reads the entire Bible, she can receive a 2-toned heart with rose emblem necklace and a brilliant red graduation cord with a gold-plated charm at the local church and/or state convention.

On the local aspect of Missionettes, our girls can look forward to parties, sleepovers, and high adventure trips. All club levels are interactive with the others. Each sponsor (or leader) is selected with the pastor's approval and also is required to have a criminal record check done and filed at the state office. Parents are welcome at any time and encouraged to attend all functions with their children.
