Our Pastor
 Pastor Dan and his wife Crystal came to our fellowship in
June of 1985. They came at the invitation of our founding pastor to work in the church while Dan attended the School of Theology in Cleveland, Tennessee. Although Dan was
born in Ohio, Crystal is a native of Whitfield County, Georgia, graduating from Northwest High School in 1974 and then attending Lee College where they met. Dan and Crystal married in 1977 and they have four sons, two
daughters, two daughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, and five grand-girls.
Pastor Dan received his call to ministry as a boy of twelve, and preached his first sermon on Youth Day in the Midvale Church of God in Midvale, Ohio. For that sermon he had three pages of notes and preached for five
minutes. Before his thirteenth birthday, he preached his first first series of meetings and eight children came to Chirst in those meetings. During his high school years he preached and sang in numerous
churches throughout Sourthern Ohio.
Pastor Dan is a 1979 graduate of Lee College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Education
and a minor in Music. He went to Ohio in 1979 and pastored Welston Church of God for two and a half years and then moved across the state to pastor the Miamisburg Church of God for three and half
years before accepting the invitation to come to Georgia. During his tenure in Ohio he served as Secretary treasure of the Welston Ministerial Association, a Volunteer Chaplain for Holzer Medical
Center, a member of the Southern Ohio State Youth and Christian Board, and as Police Chaplain in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Alongside his pulpit ministry, Pastor Dan is active in our Music ministry, playing the piano, singing,
and occasionally playing his trumpet. He is also active in our Royal Ranger Ministry.
